Elizabeth Cheung has been a reporter for the South China Morning Post's Hong Kong desk since 2014, with a focus on healthcare. She covers the city's healthcare policies, breakthrough medical treatments and research, as well as hospital blunders.
As a member of the City desk, she also covers other news, ranging from welfare and education to the ongoing protests which began in June.
Ms Cheung received her journalism education in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and holds a master's degree in Development Studies from the London School of Economics. Before joining the Post, she was a reporter covering local news in Asia Television.
